Adlår Castra UK is a renewable heating solutions company that began as a local heat pump installer. With ambitious plans to expand nationally in a short timeframe, they partnered with Thunderbolt to develop and execute a comprehensive brand strategy, covering social media marketing, paid advertising, and performance tracking.

Adlår approached us as a regional heat pump installer with ambitions to scale nationally. Despite offering a high quality service, the business faced low brand visibility outside their immediate area and limited lead flow from digital channels. Their digital presence lacked a clear strategy, and paid campaigns had not yet been explored effectively.

Strategic Positioning and Targeting
We worked closely with Adlår to refine their positioning from a local service provider to a national renewable heating expert. This involved identifying high-opportunity regions and customer segments, allowing us to localise messaging while maintaining a cohesive national brand voice.

We launched a comprehensive digital advertising strategy focused on organic and paid on two key channels:
Social Media Marketing
Implemented highly targeted, paid social media campaigns across Facebook and Instagram using geo-specific targeting and lookalike-based audiences. We installed and configured the Facebook Pixel to track website visitors, engagers to build highly relevant audiences. This allowed us to serve lead generation ads to engaged users and optimise ad spend toward higher-intent audiences.
Combined with consistent organic posting with highly valuable information and brand building led content, we’ve enabled Adlår to hit a 30% CVR and their highest sales record to date.
Conversion Tracking & Optimisation
By integrating tracking tools, we monitored performance across all digital channels. We continuously refined campaigns based on real-time data, improving targeting, creative, and spend allocation.
